OMG I want like ALL of these… Especially this one…
Uugh finally done! This will be a print at Stockholm International Comics festival, going down in two weeks! EDIT: It looks more blurry than it should because of the zoom level, and this is just a screenshot from photoshop. The two central ladies are nice and sharp in the actual print!
So, working on this at the moment. Not sure about the face, hoping that the color will soften it up a bit :P
I think I’m finally done with this one. Been working on it on and off since Easter, so it’s about bloody time! Oh Ambrose, you’re beautiful when you’re brooding. :P
Done! I’m really pleased with this one. And if nothing else, doing these Mucha-themed portraits has improved my circle inking technique in photoshop… ;P I have two more Mucha-inspired portraits in mind, one of Constance which I just finished inking. NSFW on account of ‘em titties…jump in to see!
This is def not done. But I’ve run out of steam and I don’t know what do do with the background. I totally drew all the designs on the tarot cards on a whim, but I think I’ll stick with them for the comic as you’ll be seeing them a lot and they weren’t a complete pain in the ass to draw. Incidentally, the specific ones in the picture were chosen with purpose. Not that you can see which ones are in there in this crappy screencap… :P
Ok I lied. One more before bed. :D Just thought this process screencap of my illustration of Tenedores looked pretty cool… The colors for the background were chosen randomly, and just happened to give the sketch this weird pop-art look.
Another Mucha-inspired illustration! This time of Tenedores from True Will. I don’t draw enough women nowadays…haha.
Aaaand the second one. Not 100% sure on the border on this, so I’m still calling it a WIP although it’s technically finished.
Think I’m done now, but I’ll probably go back and tweak some bits later. Critique welcome!
I have this print on my wall (number 6/30) and it makes me smile every time I look at it! |
