Done! I’m really pleased with this one. And if nothing else, doing these Mucha-themed portraits has improved my circle inking technique in photoshop… ;P I’m calling this one done for now. Not to self: peacock feathers are pretty, but tricky to color :) Glad I opted to only put ONE in her fascinator… Once again, after the jump cuz there is NSFW boobage ahead.
This is def not done. But I’ve run out of steam and I don’t know what do do with the background. I totally drew all the designs on the tarot cards on a whim, but I think I’ll stick with them for the comic as you’ll be seeing them a lot and they weren’t a complete pain in the ass to draw. Incidentally, the specific ones in the picture were chosen with purpose. Not that you can see which ones are in there in this crappy screencap… :P
Another Mucha-inspired illustration! This time of Tenedores from True Will. I don’t draw enough women nowadays…haha.
Aaaand the second one. Not 100% sure on the border on this, so I’m still calling it a WIP although it’s technically finished.
Think I’m done now, but I’ll probably go back and tweak some bits later. Critique welcome!
Om nom nom nom. Although: Something bothers me about his face. Just moved his nose around and it’s better…but something’s still off. Also I shortened his arms but they’re still a bit too long, but I’m not sure I can do more about them… I’ll have to sleep on it.
I may have used an image of George Clooney as reference for his facial expression. I also may never have drawn Ambrose looking this goddamn sultry before. Not sure those two facts are related. In any case, seriously hnnng. |
